When you arrive
All campers must book in at reception on arrival.
Parking your cars
Field 1 – After setting up your pitch please park cars on the lay-by opposite
toilet block.(Field 1 only)
Field 2 (hardstands) – please park your caravan/ motor home/ trailer tent
tight to the left hand side of the pitch except the Grass & tarmac pitches.
Cars to be parked within your own pitch in respect of other guests.
Campsite Rules
Please take the time to read our welcoming information.
This information is to help you with your stay at Wells
Holiday Park. Should you require any further assistance
please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff or come
to reception and we will be more than happy to help.
BALLS
Balls can cause damage, but rather than ban them
altogether we insist on soft and foam balls only in open
areas.
BARRIER
DO NOT walk or cycle under the entrance barrier.
Please KEEP clear!
BARRIER CARD
Barrier cards are FOR YOUR USE ONLY, do not let
anyone on to the caravan park with your card.
BBQ
Barbeques allowed. Please KEEP OFF the grass and be
aware of increased fire hazards.
BUS
Bus stops at the entrance of the caravan park. Service
126 run’s between Wells and Weston-Super-Mare
hourly Mon-Sat. 2 hourly Sundays and Bank holidays.
BICYCLES
5 MPH speed limit applies! Please keep off the grass
and keep free of door ways. An after dark curfew exists
for safety reasons.
CCTV
We are monitoring and recording on the caravan park.
CARS
5 MPH limit. Please drive as fast as you can walk
(slow). Only one car per pitch. Additional and day visitors
are chargeable. Please check at reception.
CHILDREN
Parents are responsible for there children at all times.
Please make sure they respect other people and the caravan
park. In the interest of safety, childrens bicycles, scooters, roller blades and skateboards
may NOT be used on caravan park roads.
CLOTHES LINES
These are a safety hazard, particularly after dark and therefore are not
permitted on the caravan park. Window racks and airer’s are allowed.
DOGS
Dogs are to be kept on a short lead and must be
walked by an adult. Dogs can be exercised OFF the
caravan park. Please ask at reception for local walks.
Dog fouling is not permitted on the caravan park. You must
clean up after your dogs, if not you will be asked to
leave. Never leave your dogs unattended.
DEPARTURE TIMES
Please vacate your pitch by 12noon on the day of your
departure.
ELECTRIC
Hook up’s have a 10 amp fuse trip. Low-watt and gas
kettles only please.
EMERGENCY
Telephone numbers on the notice board in the toilet
block or at reception.
FIRST AID
At reception.
FIRE
Please familiarise yourself with the position of the fire
extinguishers. Do not attempt to tackle a fire unless
practicable to do so. Upon hearing the alarm raised
please make your way to your nearest fire assembly
point, avoiding the source of the fire. Miss use of fire
equipment will result in a fine and endangers lives.
FREEZER PACKS
Re freeze your own packs in reception.
GAS
Gas, camping gas refills and disposables are available
from reception during opening hours.
NOISE
Please be considerate to neighbours and all campers.
Remember other people are on holiday too…. No noise
after 11.00pm.
PROBLEMS
We are dedicated to providing a good quality service.
Please come and see us in reception and we will try
and help put it right!
RUBBISH AND RECYCLING
All rubbish must be disposed of in the Bin/ recycling
area. Please recycle in the correct bins. Signs are very
clear.
Large non-domestic items MUST be taken to the tip in
Wells or Cheddar.
SHOP
Open daily between April – October. Times may vary.
The shop sells essentials and camping items.
SITING
Reception will allocate you a pitch. Please site your unit
within the boundary of your designated pitch. DO NOT
move to another pitch with out first checking with
reception.
SPEED LIMIT
Speed limit is enforced for the safety of everyone –
especially children. Please respect the caravan park
and keep to less than 5 MPH. Drive as fast as you walk
(slow)!
TOURIST INFORMATION
Plenty of free information and maps of the surrounding
areas at reception. Reception are more than happy to
make restaurant/ pub reservations for you. Peak season
Wells and surrounding areas can be very busy.
VISITORS
All visitors to the caravan park, even for a short while
must report to reception on arrival for Health and
Safety regulations. The caravan park rules apply to all
visitors.
WATER
Please do NOT waste water!
We do not allow water pistols, water fights or water
bombs on site.
Wells Holiday Park will not be held responsible for
any damages or injuries caused by anyone or
anything.
